If you woke up this morning and found yourself running an hour late, guess what? You were caught in the Daylight-Saving ritual that started at 2 AM today. Why are we still following this outdated ritual twice a year? The answer is that we have our Congress to thank for it.
This week I wrote three posts on the topic of intelligence uninterruptedly. May be an indication of how my week was. But the three were emotional, non-human, and artificial intelligence.
The first, emotional intelligence, is closest to our heart and has to do with how well we know ourselves and how we deal with others. The second intelligence is about anything non-human such as plants, animals, and cosmos. And lastly, the AI (artificial intelligence).
Some may lump the AI with the non-human intelligence group. I think that’s a misnomer. Since the AI is created by human, it is more akin to a tool than to its creator. The fantasy hopelessly continues and says something about the emotional intelligence, or lack of, behind it..
Lastly, the rising interest rate has brought down the Silicon Valley Bank, a major bank for the start-ups. Will there be others? Probably so, as cruel as that might sound. The market is not for the faint of heart. I think I will stick with my pain-free running.
