Keeping Up The Good Work

There are times when I forget, not motivated, or simply don’t feel like it, but I press forward anyway. Does not always work, but I believe in the law of average: if I persist, on the average I will come out ahead.

Many folks are trying to do a good job in spite of the headwinds. Their work may not get noticed. Their efforts not reflected by the immediate gratification. But they press on all the same.

So, if that’s you, go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back. Recognize yourself and keep up the good work. Because it will payoff.  Don’t have to take my words for it.

It was Aristotle who said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”  Who care if the world is or isn’t watching.  If something is important enough, keep it up. Make it into a habit. The reward will be there.

Don’t you think we deserve a pat on the back?  This is for all of us.
