Yes, when it comes to responsibility, I’m responsible to my family as the head of the household, to my neighbor as member of our community. But . . .
Foremost, I’m responsible to myself. Yes, and absolutely. If I can’t take care myself, how am I to take care of others?
Therefore, nobody is responsible for my health (not the doctor), for my career (not the boss), or for my wellbeing (no longer my parents) than me.
I’m responsible.
And as such, I’m answerable to me. No need to look elsewhere.
