About

First and foremost, hope you’re handling the Coronavirus Pandemic in stride.  Like changing oil in a car, three simple tact can keep you going for a long way: maintain your social distance, wearing face mask, and hand hygiene.

This blog began as my training journal for the 2012 Philadelphia Marathon (my 14th marathon and second Philly).  A tool to keep track of the 20 week training leading up to the marathon. However for year 2020, most marathons are canceled, mine included.

As a goal, I like to improve my running.  Each season I experiment with different elements of my running like my stride, diet, gears, etc.  An online training journal seems a good way to record and share my progress, results, and motivations.

The blog has since evolved into a repository for thoughts about running, spiritual side of running (aka the Buddha), and running comments on life during the off season.  Click here if you are interested in how the blog title came about.

I do run with a group. And you can check out my running group’s training schedule at http://www.runsrc.org/.  My training is slightly different than what is posted there due to my experimentation.  Nevertheless both have the twenty week training time-frame.

Thank you for visiting.  Run well.  Stay safe and healthy. And welcome to Running With Buddha.  Feel free to share your thoughts.

Terry

    Hello Terry,

Hope all goes well. This will be a great way to chronicle the happenings of SRC and to track our progress. It was great to see everyone at Panera after Saturday’s run in the rain. Seeing Young Ae was a special treat. So good nice of her to come out and see us.

    Run on!

  5. I just noticed you reblogged one of my recent posts. And I paused, thinking to myself… where has Terry been. It’s been quite some time since I’ve *heard* from you yet what a gift to be reconnected – at least virtually. 🙂 I jumped over here (to your blog) to learn what is new and what you’ve been posting about. I don’t have time at this moment to comb through some of your posts but I will, gladly and soon. I trust all is good in your life and world!
