Struggle

Struggle can hold significant meaning if we allow it. Too often we get drown in our efforts that we lose sight of the why or what behind our actions.  In these cases, it’s better to let go–continue pushing forward without clarity is like running in circles without making progress.

So, how do we gain clarity?  May I suggest: First, identify the context in which the struggle is taking place.  This helps to frame the situation.  Next, define your goal: articulate a clear and unambiguous end state of the desired outcome. The more specific the better. Finally, reflect on the why–the underlying motivation that fuels your efforts.

A word to the wise: if at any point during these steps, you run into dead end and find there is no clear answer, it may worth to reconsider your approach. Sometimes, starting anew or waiting for better time can lead to more fruitful outcomes.

Do you find greater meaning results from bigger the struggle?
