Finding Comfort

Finding comfort may seem trivial when survival is at stake. Yet, these small consolations are often what sustain our will to keep trying. Whether it’s a sweet treat, a quiet reprieve, or a bit of pampering, we seek these rewards to motivate us through life’s struggles.

We don’t always get it, but that never stops us from trying. Because comfort is the elixir of life. It’s the reason coffee lovers would stand in line for that fragrant cup of brew and foodies travel miles for a taste of a satisfying dish. All for the same reason.

But today, million Ukrainians are living without the simplest comforts. Under the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Ukraine energy grid has become a target, forcing families to endure the brutal winter in the dark. In his attempt to break their spirit, Putin has turned the absence of comfort into a weapon of war.

Do you think there is any future in Ukraine’s peace talk?
