Pushing the Limits, Part 3

Pushing the limits sounds more inspiring than what it truly is, especially when the limit is internal.

External limits are easy to spot: speed limits, size or weight restrictions, safety barriers, and the like. These boundaries are clearly marked, yet people cross them base on how much they are willing to risk the consequences.

Internal limits, on the other hand, are a different story. They are much more elusive — usually  personal, subjective, and harder to define. Think of athletes who trying to best their own records: these battles are not necessarily fought on a field against somebody but within.

Few public figures test these boundaries more frequently than President Trump. Just today, he suggested the Governor of California be arrested over the State’s handling of Immigration and Customs Enforcement activities in Los Angeles.

Do you think Trump crossed the line or he was being strategic?
