What is your most important asset? Is it your health, your time, your family, or perhaps your financial security?
Everyday, we deal with competing demands for our attention. Knowing what truly matters is more than a thought experiment. It is an essential exercise that sets our priority and guides our actions. Once you identify your top asset, ask yourself: what are you doing to protect it?
If you value health, for example, plenty of wellness practices exist to nourish your mind, body, and soul. Investing in them ensures you can enjoy good health as long as possible.
Personally, the top asset is my family. They are my focus and my purpose. While health and time are important, particularly as I age, I would not enjoy much without my family. This is why in my retirement staying connected with my family life is my highest priority.
