Weekend has traditionally provided people a break or change of pace from the work week. A time to rest, recover, or reset from the daily grinds.
Now-a-day, with digital technology, the line drawn for the weekend has been blurred. Checking email, text message, or whatever app that beckons, they overlay one’s life. Weekdays or weekends
It may be a sign of the times. Work-life balance may become just work-life. I hope not. As long as you’re in control, and your weekend lives up to its traditional benefits, more power to you.
For me, I have a busy weekend coming up. Thus, I will leave you with this: however your weekend ends up, try to enjoy it.
Got your weekend planned?
Working from home, the office is home and the home is office. Sometimes it seems like work never ends.
Each weekend I plan to spend a day on a great blog post I’ve been planning. But I usually get side-tracked by a full in-box. I have several email accounts that I chronically neglect.
Last weekend I spent an afternoon deleting and moving email in just one of my neglected accounts. Today I worked on another. I am making progress and my goal is to keep those inboxes tended to!

Good for you, Andy. I hated those overloaded in-box with a passion. It’s an insane merry-go-round of the working world.
