A short week, from the marathon training perspective. Took 3 days off to heal my blisters and one additional day for traveling. Ran a total of 8 miles this week.
The blisters under my feet were caused by my overzealous transition to the minimal shoes. Now that I learnt my lesson, I feel fairly confident about the concept of going barefoot.
There is no turning back. Particularly in this summer heat, my minimal shoes provides additional benefit of air cooled comfort.
In the post about the recent shooting trends in U.S., I let my feeling be known. The distressing nature of such trends calls for leadership not only from the elected officials but also all of us as well.
Because suffering is optional.
